Daniel Harris continues to be one of the leaders in the Redbacks team, with his impressive batting consistent across all forms of the game. His solid batting in the four day format collated 622 runs at an average of 34.55. His highest score of 166* against Victoria at Adelaide Oval was a great example of his patience and calm approach. In the same match, he also slugged away with Cullen Bailey to record a valuable double-century partnership with Cullen Bailey. A qualified doctor, Harris also took charge at the top of the batting order in the short form of the game, belting 253 runs with a highest score of 68 against Tasmania at Adelaide Oval in the second Ford Ranger game of the year. His Twenty20 BigBash form was equally impressive, with solid scores following on from his 2008-09 record 62-ball 98 in a losing cause against Victoria in a Twenty20 match, the highest Twenty20 score ever by a South Australia batsman.
