Multicultural Cricket

South Australia is proud multicultural state with over 43.1% of South Australians having at least one parent that was born overseas.

SACA is committed to making cricket the favourite sport for all South Australians. Cricket has long been a significant part of many cultures, with it now played in over 100 countries. Sport and Cricket in particular it has proven to be a great way to bring different cultural groups together to promote greater acceptance and understanding.

Current Programs  


WHEN: Sunday afternoons

DATE: Sunday 16th March 2014 to Sunday 27th April 2014

TIME: 2:30pm

WHERE: Brahma Lodge Indoor Sports Centre (10 Clayson Road, Salisbury East)

COST: $5 per person per week

WHO: The program is targeting recent arrivals to Australia and players from different cultural backgrounds. Males and Females!

WHAT TO WEAR: Sports shoes and appropriate sports clothes

WHAT TO BRING: Drink and any cricket equipment you have. PLEASE NOTE: Cricket equipment will be provided if required

GETTING THERE: You can catch the 225 bus from Salisbury Interchange and get off at Stop 45, Clayson Road. The centre is a short walk from the stop. For more information, please visit for routes and timetables. Ample free car parking is available at the centre.
