School Cricket

Primary School Cricket is available for girls and boys in years 2 to 7 across metropolitan Adelaide and some regional areas.

Games are played on either a Friday evening or Saturday morning at various locations. The rules are modified meaning that matches only run for between 1 and 3 hours.

The rules are designed to allow every child to bat, bowl and field in every match. Team numbers have been reduced from the traditional 11 meaning that each player will be more involved and more active during the match.

Equipment is modified and in most cases is provided by the School, so the cost to play is minimal or even free.

The Primary School Cricket Competition is managed by the SA Cricket Association and will commence in Week 3, Term 1.

Primary School cricket is a fantastic introduction to the game.

It is
