MILO T20 Blast

Kids around Australia will blast their way into cricket this summer as part of Australian cricket’s MILO T20Blast program, and boys and girls in South Australia can now join their local MILO T20Blast Centre.

Designed for kids aged 8-12, 2012 marks the inaugural season of the MILO T20Blast program.  With the success of the introduction of the domestic KFC T20 Big Bash League in 2011, MILO T20Blast gives kids the opportunity to experience the same big-hitting excitement.

MILO T20Blast will help kids make the transition from schools to club cricket, while having great fun along the way. It’s the perfect way for kids to get active, and the fun and dynamic format will maximise participation and be the next step from MILO in2CRICKET to junior club cricket.

Australian T20 Captain George Bailey believes the MILO T20 Blast program is a great introduction to T20 for kids, combining basic cricket skills with a fun and fast-paced form of the game.

“T20 is great to play and now that it’s the favourite format for kids around Australia, MILO T20Blast will be the perfect opportunity for girls and boys to have fun, learn some new skills and stay involved in cricket,” Bailey said.

Competitions are being set up in a variety of metropolitan regions, as well as two indoor centres. See below for closest centre:
